A missed call is usually a missed job
Most people who reach voicemail don't leave a message. They ring the next name on the list.
How it works
Tell it about your business
Your opening hours, what you do, how you like callers greeted, and for each kind of call what to ask for: a name, a number, an address, a few words about the job. A guided set-up assistant walks you through it in about ten minutes.
Get your number
We give you a dedicated UK number. Divert your existing line to it when you can't answer, or use it as your business number from day one.
It answers, you get the message
Every call is answered in your business's name. The caller's details and what they need reach you by text or email the moment the call ends, with the full conversation in your call history.
What it does for you
Simple monthly plans
Pick the number of calls you expect each month. Every monthly plan comes with bonus calls in your first month, and you can change plan or cancel online at any time.
Built for businesses that can't always get to the phone
Any business whose customers ring first. Tell it what your callers usually want and it takes it from there.
Security & confidentiality
Your callers are telling your business their names, numbers and addresses. We treat that accordingly.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Your data is encrypted both while it travels to us and while it's stored on our infrastructure.
Restricted to your business
Your calls, messages and account data are visible only to the members of your own business account.
No tracking or advertising
We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising technologies of any kind, on the site or in the product.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You get a dedicated number from us and keep your own. Most businesses divert their existing line to it when they can't answer (your phone provider calls this call divert or call forwarding), so callers never know the difference. You can also give the new number out directly.
What happens to the message?
The moment a call ends, the caller's details and what they asked for are sent to you by text or email, whichever you prefer, or collected into one daily summary. Every call also appears in your call history with the full conversation, and the recording if you've switched recordings on.
Can it put a caller through to me?
Yes. You list the people in your business and when they can be reached, and the receptionist can transfer a caller to them. If nobody answers, it takes a message instead, so the caller is never left hanging.
What does it know about my business?
Whatever you tell it: opening hours, prices, the services you offer, how to find you, and the questions you want asked for each kind of call. A guided set-up assistant helps you write all of it, and you can change it at any time and test the result from your browser before it goes live.
How am I billed?
Monthly plans are billed in advance from the day your number is ready, then on the same date each month, with bonus calls in your first month. Calls beyond your plan's allowance are added to the next month's charge at the plan's per-call rate. Pay As You Go has no monthly fee and is paid per call from your account credit. Cancel online at any time; a monthly plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Does it book appointments?
Coming soon. Appointment booking straight into your business calendar is built and being readied for launch. Until then the receptionist takes the caller's preferred times as part of the message.
